Founded 1982 by Les Torrens (1923-2000)

Welcome to the Buffers

The Buffers is a group of Transportation enthusiasts living in Southwestern Ontario Canada. The group meets 10 times a year for the enjoyment of British Railways and other transportation largely from the British Isles.

On this site you can find information about the club as a whole, along with information about the club's portable 10ftx18ft  "OO" scale layout.

A successful outing to the 2010 GBTS resulted in a second place finsish for the Buffers' layout! See the Platelayer's website at http://www.theplatelayers.org/ for more details.

Our current and upcoming events can be viewed on the right.

Any question regarding any events please feel free to contact us through the Contact Us page.

An email group has also been created for the communication of members and non members alike about anything relating to British transportation.
